About the Axialis Engineering Team
IconVectors is built and documented by the engineering team at Axialis Software. We write the tutorials, use cases, and documentation on this site from the same product workflows we build, so the steps you read match the tool you run.
What we build
Axialis develops icon and vector graphics tools. Alongside IconVectors, our SVG icon editor for developers, the same team maintains a focused line of icon-creation software:
- Axialis IconGenerator — generate icon sets from source artwork.
- Axialis IconWorkshop — create and edit application icons.
- Axialis Vector Icons — ready-made icon libraries.
- svgicons.com — a free SVG icon collection, available as a built-in import source inside IconVectors.
Our focus
We build for developers who need production-ready icons, not illustrations. That focus shows up in IconVectors: pixel-perfect editing on a real grid, an Analyze/Clean Up Icon pass for fixing geometry and strokes, an Element Library and SVG Properties for reusable artwork and output control, Pixel-Align Selection, local MCP automation for AI clients, and live code export to SVG, XAML, WPF Geometry, VectorDrawable, SwiftUI, ReactTS, VueTS, and C++. IconVectors runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Our background
Axialis Software has specialized in icon and vector graphics tooling since 1989, shipping its first product, IconWorkshop, in 1992. Our software is trusted by teams in 150+ countries, with more than 500,000 downloads, and IconVectors continues that work with a modern, SVG-first workflow.
How we write these guides
Every tutorial and use case on this site is written by the Axialis Engineering team from hands-on work in IconVectors. When a release adds or changes a feature, we update the affected guides and note the revision date in the byline. If you spot an error or have a question, reach us through Support.
