Batch Processing Automation

Batch processing applies one set of options to several selected SVG icons. Depending on the command, you can modify the original SVGs or create new SVG, PNG or ICO files. Always review the preview before executing: disk changes are not part of Editor Undo.

The guides below explain the shared workflow and each family of operations:

  • Selection, preview and safety explains selecting inputs, remembered options, preview results, the Back button, confirmation, diagnostics and recovery. Read this first, especially before modifying originals.

  • Batch colors, palettes and strokes covers palettes, line strokes, exact color replacement, currentColor conversion, color adjustments and automatic gradients. Use these tools to give an icon collection a consistent look.

  • Batch canvas, geometry and outlines explains resizing canvases, centering or fitting artwork, rotating or flipping icons and converting strokes into vector outlines. Review bounds and clipping before applying geometry changes.

  • Creating bitmap icons, versions and badge overlays covers PNG/ICO bitmap generation, Hot/Disabled/ Dark Theme SVG versions and combinations of base icons with badge overlays. These operations create separate output files.

  • Optimizing SVG files explains SVG formatting, color and path-number compaction, with optional coordinate rounding. Review the appearance when rounding is enabled.

Each operation guide includes a Dark Theme options-dialog screenshot and explains the available settings. The same fourteen operations are available through MCP batch tools using a reviewed plan followed by an explicit apply request.
